In celebration of the Gothenburg Book Fair's 40th anniversary, the iconic symbol, the Mermaid, gains additional significance as it becomes a new literary award. This year's recipient of the very first Sjöjungfrun “Mermaid Award” is author Joyce Carol Oates.
Arctic Paper believes that books and literature enrich our lives, increase our knowledge, and challenge our thoughts. Therefore, it was a natural choice for us to become partnres of Sjöjungfrun 2024.
Joyce Carol Oates will receive the award at the Gothenburg Book Fair between September 26th - 29th.
