The newly extended Munken Design Range has received the warmest reception possible on the market. A number of high-quality productions have been produced, with the new Munken Rough qualities proving to be a popular choice of paper.
Sales of the Munken Design Range increased by 16.5 percent in 2010. That success is now being followed by a new campaign - Munken Art Workers.
- "Munken has a stable clientele and sales are performing well. But right now, we are seeing an influx of new customers as well as a clear increase in sales, with the rougher paper qualities accounting for a large part of this," says Martin Folkelind, Business Development Manager at Arctic Paper.
When the Munken Rough range was presented as part of Munken's large design paper selection almost one year ago, there were no other products like it that offered such unique characteristics. The papers have the market’s roughest surface. It is wood-free, age resistant and provides outstanding print results. The response to the new qualities indicates that there is a real demand for them.
- "Arctic Paper Munkedal has demonstrated yet again its sensitivity towards trends. We will be highlighting this expertise in the new Munken campaign," says Martin Folkelind.
Arctic Paper Munkedals backstage The new campaign encapsulates the spirit at the mill in Munkedal, where history, experience and expertise are in the very walls. Design paper of the highest imaginable quality is created here each day, by committed and skillful employees. Arctic Paper will soon be emphasising this atmosphere when the entire Munken Design range is displayed in a new campaign. The campaign is called Munken Art Workers, where a total of 48 pages are being brought together for a presentation of a small "Munkedal backstage."
- "There is something unique about Arctic Paper Munkedal, an atmosphere, a feeling that we want to convey in a slightly different way," says Martin Folkelind.
Munken Art Workers will therefore be a combination of brochures, magazines and design teasers. The campaign highlights the paper's unique possibilities, while also reflecting Arctic Paper's deep commitment to nature and the environment
Arctic Paper Munkedal is a popular visitor attraction in the industry. Here, customers and designers learn more about paper and ecology, while also enjoying the nearby nature.
- "With this campaign, we are broadening the perspective and reaching out to an even wider audience, providing the opportunity for them to become acquainted with the potential contained within the Munken range as well as our commitment," says Martin Folkelind.
