Artssentials – creative theme for Munken Agenda 2012
In the new Munken Agenda, which is being published this year for the third time, Arctic Paper has focused on how the passion for paper and artwork unites the paper makers at the paper mill in Munkedal with designers and printers throughout Europe. With the Munken Agenda, it is possible to meet the specialists of Arctic Paper Munkedals, experience the Munken Design Range, and show tools that all the world’s art workers recognise and use on a daily basis.
The Munken Design Range has taken the market by storm. Sales and interest in Arctic Paper’s foremost design paper are continually increasing.
This year’s Munken Agenda takes customers right in the centre of the action. This year’s theme, “Artssentials” is a play on words where skill and creativity, with the help of good materials and work tools, are in focus. The Agenda unites the everyday activities at the plant with the day-to-day activities for all quality-minded printers and designers. We are all Munken Art Workers.
As usual, this year’s agenda is printed on Munken’s six different qualities of design paper. And exactly like before, it is bound in so-called French open wire binding, an attractive and exclusive binding that makes the calendar lie securely open.
Virtual coffee break teaches you more! Arctic Paper also strives to develop knowledge about paper and printing. Therefore, a second film is being launched on Arctic Paper’s website where you can have a “virtual coffee break” with one of the experts at Arctic Paper Munkedals. The films give a concentrated dose of paper knowledge; discussions about coated paper versus uncoated paper, brightness and tint, paper feeling and surfaces, opacity and much more. Have a coffee with Anders Fransson, Group Technical and Environmental Coordinator at Arctic Paper, at www.arcticpaper.com/munken
“There is a large demand for knowledge about paper and how to achieve the best print result possible. With the “Coffee break films” we want to contribute to increased knowledge about paper, reproduction and printing,” says Annika Andréasson, project manager at Arctic Paper’s marketing department.
The campaign regarding Munken Agenda starts the week of October 17. At that time, a large number of Munken enthusiasts in Europe will be invited to order the new calendar.
The calendar can also be ordered from the Munken Shop, www.arcticpaper.com/munkenshop as of November 1. Please visit Munken on Facebook, www.facebook.com/munkenbyarcticpaper
